essie button and make-up

So, recently two of my close friends have got into make-up school (one of them being catherine) and I have actually got increasingly interested in make-up myself. I've been looking at a few make-up 'gurus' on YouTube, including essiebutton - channel and blog - who I have featured above. I love her channel as she seems to get straight to the point when talking about make-up and other beauty products and provides informative material without sounding too polished, leading non-make-up-ers like me to confusion.
I'm not entirely sure why I was never really into make-up until now, but I'm just going to assume that I always kind of thought that some brands are overpriced and that I'd rather spend my money on clothes, than something that inevitably is going to be used and disappear over time. I've been wearing make-up all throughout my teenager years, but I have never been experimental. I've been sticking to the usual foundation, eye-liner, mascara and perhaps, a little blusher. However, recently I have started expanding my every day make up by purchasing brushes and listening to the advice of essiebutton and other YouTubers such as Sarah Walker and Zoella on which products are easy-to-use, effective and fairly cheap.
So yeah, I may be posting some more make-up and beauty posts, although I don't think I will ever post a review or a tutorial, because I am definitely not experienced, nor talented in this topic nor do I know enough to have a say in it, so I will leave it to those who have something to say.
