style icon - lauren conrad

As promised, here is my post on style icon Lauren Conrad, star of The Hills, fashion designer, author and blogger. She runs her own website laurenconrad.com, as well as The Beauty Department, with the help of her make-up artist and her hair stylist. On her personal website, she gives tips and tricks on fashion, beauty and lifestyle including DIYs, recipes and decorations, which I love. The Beauty Department shows helpful and clever tutorials for hair, make-up and nails. Lauren's interest in fashion has always been obvious, as viewers of The Hills saw her intern for Teen Vogue and move on to work at Kelly Cutrone's 'People's Revolution' (like, my dream place to work, ever!).
After leaving the MTV show, Lauren went on to publish a series of books, LA Candy (I've blogged about it), Sweet Little Lies, as well as, Sugar and Spice, which was accompanied by a Style guide, and finally, a spin-off of the original trilogy, The Fame Game. Lauren has also launched three fashion lines: The Lauren Conrad Collection, LC by Lauren Conrad and Paper Crown. This year a Beauty guide will be released, as well as another book, titled Starstruck. Yay!
Lauren Conrad pretty much has the life any girl wants, do you agree?
